My 5 years old is about to enter her 1st year of Elementary School for the 1st time ever! She's been waiting 2 whole years to do this. While she'll be turning 6 years old she'll finally be entering Kindergarten. She couldn't be more excited to be catching up with her friends finally!
Everyday she has to remind she'll be starting school.
Everyday she has to remind me to go get her school supplies.
Everyday she has to say "It's so weird that I'll be going to school all day long".
Everyday she has to remind me that she'll be needing a lunch.
Everyday she has to remind me that she'll be taking the bus, she doesn't need me to drive her.
Everyday she tells me once she starts school that I will no longer be mama I'll be...Mom.
And everyday I get this sick feeling knowing that my little girl is growing up!

His Hands
Last week after leaving MOPS on Thursday I was thinking about our meeting and something our leader Shannon had shared with us. It had me thinking about my girls and if they ever had a conversation with Jesus.
Me: What did you learn today in MOPS?
Adrianna: (I know this sounds bad but I can't remember but she said something about Jesus)
Me: Has Jesus ever talked to you before?
A: No. But he's put his hands out over me before and told me everything will be O.K. and to trust.
M: Really?!?! What did his hands look like?
A: They were dirty.
M: Are they big or small?
A: Medium. Not big but not small. And his nails are kinda long but not like a girl long.
M: Wow! Anything else?
A: He had holes in his hands with blood. But he wasn't bleeding Mama. It looked kinda dried up. But not like boo-boos where he would need band-aids or that stuff you pick off the boo-boos.
M: You mean scabs?
A: Yes but he didn't have that. It's hard to explain.
I was in awe! My 5 years old was telling me this. How AMAZING that she got to witness this. I wasn't expecting her to have a story to share and I wanted to learn more!! However, I dropped it as I saw she didn't really have anymore to share. I knew if she did she would.
Moving to this week a friend texts me. "Look at the video I posted on FB (facebook)" I am thinking it's a clip of her son. I go to click on it and my mouth dropped to the floor! I told Dave (my husband who doesn't believe) and after viewing the clip he was speechless....
Needless to say I am so thankful for my daughter sharing with me and how can I doubt His Hands again?
Here is the Video that my friend shared with me.
